Scorch team captain Kara Lanae, number 9, introduces the video and says that the Scorch is conducting tryouts for four available positions on the 2008-09 team.  It’s interesting that it doesn’t look like they have a field worthy of such a tryout, but maybe they were trying to show just how tough it really is to play lingerie football.  The field was a little muddy and certainly not of NFL quality.

After we watch the Scorch’s tryouts, we see the players going through a makeup and spray tanning session.  The Scorch players get their eyebrows plucked and then head to a photo shoot where they have more oil on them than you see in the typical WWE match!

And, to conclude the video, the Scorch players head out to a nightclub in uniform.  There’s a lot of dancing, partying, and autograph signing.

By the looks of this video, it’s a shame we won’t see the Phoenix Scorch this season in the LFL.  Scorchers, you will be missed.

Melissa is another one of those silly girls who allowed a boyfriend to take naked pictures of her, then the knucklehead posted them on the internet and now she’s mad.  Rightfully so.

During the last week of December, 2008, Berry filed suit in Florida against Mark Dawson, a 45-year-old “safe dating expert.”  Now, isn’t that ironic.  The guy bills himself as a safe dating expert then takes pictures and posts them on the internet.

According to court records, Berry is suing for in excess of $15,000.  The trouble started when Dawson took pictures of Berry with his cell phone then started showing them to others.  Berry’s position is that the pictures were meant to be private and only for Dawson’s eyes.  When Berry confronted Dawson at a Tampa-area nightclub, she took the cell phone and busted it up.

Dawson then sent a text message to Berry’s mother asking for $500 to pay for the phone (classy, huh?).  When the money was not received, Dawson posted the nude pictures on the internet on MySpace.  According to Berry, one of the pictures depicted “a particularly private intimate act.”

Tianna Ta Loves Massachusetts Sports

The New England Euphoria held tryouts looking for 12 women to play for the 2009 season.  It’s real hard hitting football played 7 vs. 7.  The Euphoria open the season in Atlanta on September 18.

The Euphoria named Tianna Ta (no jokes here guys) as its captain for the 2009 season.  We haven’t seen Tianna play football yet, but take a look at her.

Tianna will play defensive line for the Euphoria.  That’s usually where you stick those 115 pound bruisers.

Ta is a long time athlete prior to joining the Lingerie Football League.  She was on the track team in high school and ran hurdles and also threw the javelin.  “I think my longest throw was about 85 feet,” said Ta.
