Thanks for the guest post by Jonathan Curtis
These days it seems like everything is online. Just the other day I logged on to my Hughes Net and saw I got an e-mail from my veterinarian. They have launched a “pet portal” service that gives all your pet or pets (if you have multiples) information. You can use the pet portal to do all sorts of things including order medication refills and schedule appointments. Through the pet portal they will also send you reminders for when you need to get refills or come in for a check-up. You can also use the pet portal to look up information on anything pet related including first aid or general health questions. Another handy tool is being able to ask the vet questions about your pets. This could be provide a substantial savings if you’re like me and worry a little too much about your pets. It seems like I’m always noticing something that I think needs to be checked out. More times than not my concerns are unfounded and I’ve spent not just the money but the time and energy to take a needless trip.
