The Phoenix Scorch franchise is not part of the Lingerie Football League for the 2009-2010 season, but the memories of the

mamories still exist fresh in our minds.  After all, of all places in the country, doesn’t it make sense to play football in your underwear in Phoenix?

Scorch team captain Kara Lanae, number 9, introduces the video and says that the Scorch is conducting tryouts for four available positions on the 2008-09 team.  It’s interesting that it doesn’t look like they have a field worthy of such a tryout, but maybe they were trying to show just how tough it really is to play lingerie football.  The field was a little muddy and certainly not of NFL quality.

After we watch the Scorch’s tryouts, we see the players going through a makeup and spray tanning session.  The Scorch players get their eyebrows plucked and then head to a photo shoot where they have more oil on them than you see in the typical WWE match!

And, to conclude the video, the Scorch players head out to a nightclub in uniform.  There’s a lot of dancing, partying, and autograph signing.

By the looks of this video, it’s a shame we won’t see the Phoenix Scorch this season in the LFL.  Scorchers, you will be missed.
